SS-192 You're Amazing

I've been so caught up in making Valentines Day cards, I figured it was time to get into another color other than Red, Pink, White and Black! Today I paired up some non-traditional colors: Blue, Brown, Colonial White, and GreyWool - with a splash of Yellow thrown in for some variety!

My sketch comes from Sketch Saturday and I rotated the image clockwise once.  Here's their sketch
and here's what I came up with:

This is another Simply Betty Stamp which I got from Graphicats Stamps from this past weekend Copic and Crop classes.  I thought I was going to have a hard time making up the "elongated diamond" for this sketch but I was able to utilize my CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge and used the "Card" setting for the triangle and nested it quite nicely to create the frame from Ariel as well as the "tickets"!

All the goods which made up this card:

Stamps: Simply Betty Sunflower Ariel and CTMH C1464 Blue Ribbon
B and T Papers: Authentique 6X6 Journey

All Cardstock is CTMH: Cocoa, Grey Wool, Sky and Colonial White
Ink:  Momentos Tuxedo Black, CTMH Cocoa and CTMH SkyEmbelishments: Flowers, Prima Crystals, CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge, Copics, Liquid Glass and CTMH Licorice Gems.

SC369 - Young Love

Last weekend, Amber and I attended Graphic Cats Designs Copic Club and Crop.  It was great fun. . . and there was a great group of ladies there throughout the weekend!

I've discovered my limited supply of Copic Markers is definately NOT enough to sustain me. . . the world is a rainbow and for every color there is a copic marker - and I pretty much have to have it!   Yes I am addicted and Cheri over at Graphic Cats Design is somewhat responsible!  LOL

Anyways. . . my therapy is definately retail and along with many Copic Markers, I also was able to pick up some really. . .really cute stamp sets and put all of the information from my Copic Class to good work.

Here's the sketch I used for my Young Love card:
and here's what I was able to make on the weekend (I know I'm a little slow in uploading my stuff - life kinda gets going and you run out of time):

Aren't they just the cutest!  I REALLY LOVE this image set. . . so much so I had to buy several stamps by the same artist! I did mention retail therapy didn't I. . . and Graphic Cats Design was definately able to supply!  Thanks Cheri ;-)

Here's all the det's on this card:

BandT Papers:  Basic Grey 6X6 pad Enchanted and EP Success 6x6 pad
Cardstock is all CTMH:  Black, Grey Wool and Tulip
Stamps:  Simply Betty "Valentine Pals Christian and Betty"
Embelishments:  Grey Pearl Swirls, Red Gems, Flowers, CTMH Liquid Glass, and Copic Markers

Bearly Havin' Fun

Over at Heart2Heart's blog last week they had a challenge to use the colors Amethyst and Twilight.  As well, Creative Accents Seriously Creative Challenge for January is for a theme "Let it Snow".

I was able to meet both thee challenges criteria (yippeee savin' time on the card making!).  The great thing about CTMH is their paperpacks and the CTMH Winter Wonderland papers were perfect for this color challenge and snow theme.  I also had an older, now retired stamp set, which I hadn't used before and knew I could pear up easily with the color pallet of the papers.   Here's my card:

The card base was made with CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge. . . I'm not really sure how I survived without this great tool before it's release in the fall!  And here's a close up of these cute little bears from CTMH "Chillin" Acrylic Stamp set:

Aren't they just the cutest little guys?

The great thing about this card. . . is it is almost all CTMH product!
Here's the Recipe:
Papers:  CTMH Winterwonderland Papers
Stamps:  CTMH Acrylic Stamp Chillin
Embelishments:  CTMH Pearls, Jelly Roll Glitter Pen, CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge and Copic Markers

TFL. . . and now onto this weeks Photo Inspired Heart2Heart Challenge!  Check it out and maybe you too will be inspired to create something new and exciting from your stash!
So life has been a little busy, hence the long time between posts. Anyways, my girls were using some gentle persuasion (begging) this weekend to make some cards. So I decided to sit down and make the easel card that I had challenged my self to make, a long time ago.

It started with this cute fairy stamp that my little boy got me for Christmas from Graphicat . I colored her with Copic Markers and gave her a bit of Sparkle with CTMH Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel. Oh and the red bell is also from Graphicat .

SOOOOO FUUNN!!!!

So here is my card. Not sure if it all works together but I like it. Didn't use a layout, just let the paper guide me.

Here is the inside.

Product used were:

CTMH Roxie Paper Pack
Whimsy Stamps Silver Fairy
CTMH Wonderland Workshop On The Go Stamp set
CTMH Roxie Workshop On The Go Stamp set
Graphicat embellishments, Bell and Coffee mug and beans
Copic Markers
CTMH Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel
CTMH Ink in Cocoa and Chocolate
CTMH Black Marker

Happy Paper Crafting......

Until Next Time!
