Look who's coming to play. . . .

I'm happy to announce Amber Nustad, another CTMH consultant is joining me on Scrappy-Gals Blog!  You'll see some of her creations with a focus on CTMH products, but like me she likes to play in the big sand box and uses a bit of everything!

Here's one of her cards just to start it all off:
Amber used CTMH Believe paper pack with CTMH Topiary and Holiday Red card stock.  Stamp sets are from CTMH I Believe Acrylic Stamps in CTMH Topiary ink.  The Snowflake is stamped using CTMH White Embossing Powder with CTMH Prisma Glitter mixed in to give it a "glittery" feel!

Other accessories include CTMH Corner Rounder punch and a Snowflake Punch.

Mojo214 - Let it Snow!

Week one of the month is the kick off to Mojo Monday's contest!  Yiiippppeee!  I always love a challenge and NO I'm not competitive at all!  So here's the dete's:

For every 50 entries, up to a max of SEVEN winners!!! Winners will receive the Verve Stamps set of their choice!  Who couldn't handle a free stamp set and Verve Stamps are so versatile!   For full details check out the Mojo Monday Blog.

So here's the "sketch" for the challenge:

and here's my rendition:

Cardstock is CTMH Grey Flannel, Chocolate, Twilight and White
B&T papers are all from the CTMH Winter Wonderland Paper Pack
Ink is CTMH Chocolate
Stamps are CTMH Snowflakes and Amuse Holiday Greeting Set 1
Accessories include Nestabilities, CTMH Opaque Mocha Gems and Self Adhesive Snowflake Flock.  The Ribbon is a roll which I picked up from Michaels a couple of years go, and with all it's glitter and shine it went surprising well with CTMH color combos!

Season's Change - Friendship stays the same!

Here's a fun card I made up to celebrate my favorite time of the year - FALL!  I'm trying to challenge myself to use more of my CTMH paper product but as my blog states I am a paper horder and have all sorts of paper and of coarse I LOVE it all!

This time, the paper is from CTMH Dreamin' paper pack.    This paper pack truely inspires the colors of all with its combination of CTMH Goldrush,  Chocolate, Pacifica and Bamboo colors.

The stamp sets I featured here is CTMH So Grateful Acrylic Stamp set.  I used the pumpkin and second stage stamped the image with a little "rock and roll" around the edges to give it a dementional appearance of being a fat round pumpkin in CTMH Goldrush ink.  Then followed with the second stamp set of phrases in CTMH Chocolate ink.   Added the swirls and 3D popped the leaves in CTMH Olive ink.

Add some gems and a little bit more stamping and you have a great card for a great friend! :)

Christmas is in the Air - Part 2

Okay. . . at the end of October I posted one of the Six Cards we are going to be making at the Contact Women's Society's Card Making Night.  Here is card two which Amber Nustad (my trusty sidekick - or maybe I'm hers, who knows!) put together!  Again, this is featuring the CTMH Winter Wonderland Paper Pack.  I love all of the blues and brown's in this kit!

Images are cut using the CTMH Cricut Art Philosphy Cartridge and stamped with the co-ordinating stamp image from CTMH Holiday Cheer and CTMH Snowflake sets. Amber has added some bling to her card by stamping the greeting in CTMH Twilight Blue stamp pad and followed up by using a versa-mark pad and embossing with CTMH Clear Detail Embossing Powder and CTMH Prisma Glitter added to over the image.  The end result is a shimmer to the card and some added depth to the image.

Add some gems - no girl could do without and vola!  You have one more card completed!

Thanks Amber!
